DJ pitch calculator

Enter the BPM of the playing track and the one you want to mix in. You get the pitch-fader setting, the pitch shift you would hear without key lock, and the smallest fader range that reaches it.

The formulas

pitch % = (target ÷ track − 1) × 100 and semitones = 12 × log2(target ÷ track). One semitone is about 5.95 % of speed, so small tempo changes are much less than a semitone — ±3 % is about half a semitone, which most listeners won’t notice.
