Merge two subtitle files into one
Join subtitles that were split into two parts — the classic CD1 / CD2 release — into a single file for a single video.
Move subtitles by a fixed amount when every line is off by the same delay.
Seconds (2.5), milliseconds (1500ms) or a time (00:00:02,500). Subtitles appear too early → Later.
For subtitles that drift. Pick two cues far apart and enter when each should appear.
Rescale times when the subtitle was made for a video with a different frame rate.
The file open now is part 1 / language 1.

About this tool
Older movie releases were split across two discs, and their subtitles were split too: the second file starts again at 00:00:00. When you have the full movie as one file, you need one subtitle file, with part 2 moved to start where the first part of the video ends.
Open part 1, choose the part 2 file in the Merge tab and set when part 2 starts. The field is pre-filled with a second after part 1’s last subtitle; for an exact result, enter the running time of the first part of the video, or load the video and click “Use video length/time”. Then download the merged file in any format.
Both parts can be in different formats or encodings — each file is detected separately. To show two languages at once instead, use the bilingual merge.
FAQ
How do I know where part 2 should start?
Use the running time of the CD1 video file. If you only have the full movie, find the first line of part 2 in the video and enter that time minus the line’s start time in the part 2 file.
Can I merge an SRT with an ASS file?
Yes. Each file is read in its own format and the result is saved in whatever format you choose.
Can I merge more than two files?
Merge two, then choose the next file and merge again — the merged result stays loaded.
