Project cut lists
Complete parts lists for common builds, loaded into the optimizer so you can change sizes and see exactly how many sheets or boards to buy.
- Bookshelf cut listA full cut list for a classic 72-inch tall, 36-inch wide, 11 1/4-inch deep bookcase in 3/4-inch plywood with a 1/4-inch back. The layout below is loaded into the optimizer — change any size and it recalculates.
- Base cabinet cut listA complete cut list for one 24-inch wide, 34 1/2-inch tall, 24-inch deep frameless (European-style) kitchen base cabinet with a full-overlay door, built from 3/4-inch plywood and a 1/4-inch back.
- Wall cabinet cut listCut list for a 30-inch wide, 30-inch tall, 12-inch deep frameless upper cabinet with two full-overlay doors, built from 3/4-inch plywood with a 1/4-inch back.
- Drawer boxes cut listCut list for a stack of four drawer boxes — 4, 6, 8 and 10 inches tall — for a 24-inch base cabinet with 21-inch side-mount slides, in 1/2-inch Baltic birch with 1/4-inch bottoms.
- Closet organizer cut listA cut list for a floor-standing closet tower: 84 inches tall, 24 inches wide and 14 inches deep in 3/4-inch white melamine, with three fixed shelves, four adjustable shelves, a toe kick and two hanging cleats.
- 2x4 workbench cut listLumber list for a sturdy 6-foot workbench framed in 2x4s: 72 × 24-inch top frame with a center brace, a matching lower shelf frame and four legs, topped with 3/4-inch plywood. Below, the optimizer works out how many boards to buy.
- Raised garden bed cut listLumber list for a classic 4 × 8-foot raised bed, two 2x6 boards high (about 11 inches deep), with 2x4 corner posts. The cutting plan shows how to buy the fewest boards.
